Europe.

Okay so it's about freaking time I updated, and about Europe at that. It was an amazing time indeed. Oh yeah, Steve came also. I had a dixieland band solo where I stood up with 4 other people (a clarinet, tuba, saxaphone, and a trombone) in front of the entire band and played the whole song solo (with the band accompanying us). That was cool. Then I had a couple little solos throughout other songs. It was really funny because the condoctor would talk to me throughout the songs and like wink at me and give me the okay sign if I did it well and the like. Then when we weren't putting on concerts we were galavanting throughout Europe for hours at a time. Oh yeah, the day we recorded our CD we were in the French part of Switzerland on July 14th...Bastille day...and we played a bunch of American songs, but I'm still alive, so all's good. It was an insane amount of fun and I'm dying to relive it. It's hard to describe in words so I'll just shoot to the pictures...

Enter Lugano.

Lugano!

Lugano again!

Okay, so Lugano was my favorite place.

Lugano's in the Italian part of Switzerland, which makes it all the better.

You guessed it, Luganooo!

Yep, more Lugano.

Okay Steve, so I still don't get why there was a reception desk in our room...

Lugano from a paddle boat!

Okay so that's one thing about Lugano that scared me.

We're done with Lugano now, lol, that's the flag of Switzerland from a top the Swiss Alps.

A view from on top of the Swiss Alps.

The Swiss Alps from the bus.

Austria!

Yes! Computers exist in Austria!

Is that a mountain in the city?

And up the Austrian Alps we go!

A view from halfway up the Austrian Alps.

Yeah, it's still July up there.

Just in case you didn't believe me...

So I went up in that cold with just a windbreaker on? Genius.

The conductor and I on the Rhine river.

Cool.

Paris!

I thought it looked like Snoopy's head...

Us (Meredith, Amy, Kaitlyn, Me, Ashley, Carrie, and Steve) on top of the Eiffel Tower.

The bell towers of the Notre Dame.

The back of the Notre Dame from a boat.

What?

That's the Louvre from a strange angle.

The Louvre traditionalized.

Venice!

Pigeons on St. Mark's Cathedral (the Duomo) in St. Mark's Square.

Ahh, I don't know why the rest of my Italy pictures didn't upload. Oh well.

And last but not least, the place that has the best strawberries in the world, Heidelberg.

I'll post more if I ever get a chance.
