so the new pirates of the caribbean movie: not very good! ::discuss::
I did, however, really enjoy An Inconvenient Truth, although a lot of the stuff I already knew from when I wrote a report on ANWR soph year in high school. Kind of wish there wasn't as much about al gore so that more conservatives would see it... dumb politics! but I like him a lot more after seeing it.
In other news, got some new bookshelves yesterday. my apt. looks much better without the wire-cube units that I have been putting my books on - not very sturdily.
and also: so I've been b-sitting for 2 of my art hist. prof.s lately (they are married to each other) and the last time I babysat, one of them mentioned that maybe i could help him with some research for an upcoming exhibit that's gonna be put on in Spain. (I wouldn't get to GO to Spain, mind you, but) maybe this could make up for the architecture firm basically wanting me to start working the day of my interview and then NEVER CALLING ME AGAIN and after almost two months of me calling them only to find that they haven't decided whether or not to give me a job, me just giving up.... this would be better than that... I hope...
