Summary:Harry's owl has quite the story to tell
Author's Notes: Happy first December everybody - also look at us, only 24 more to go!
If anybody ever were to ask Delphi about his humble opinion, which he knew they were not, he would have told them from the beginning that yes, yes indeed they were annoying everybody around them.
At first he was the only victim. And if he is allowed to offer another opinion, being named Delphi by a drunk wizard as the first thing in his life he felt victim to, qualifies him as a judge. At least the other human agrees, even if he is rather stingy with the owl treats. Wizards have no concept of work and attention they require.
In the beginning he was sent back and forth between the two of them just once a day. Which was just fine. Back then summer was not too hot, and the distance was rather a good workout. He also managed to hunt some mice down.
But then the messages started to increase. And at the beginning of winter, it was three round trips a day. Only to come home to the old house, where the attic has still not be cleaned to find the wizard he just left cuddling with his dunderhead owner comfortably in front of the fire.
But he had kept quiet, been a good owl.
He had even been quiet as the other friends in his owners life started to bemoan the fact that the recipient of most of his owners letters stayed with him. And sometimes got amused when they all tried to hide their gagging reflex, once the two of them threw smoldering looks at each other.
But nothing, and he meant that, nothing was as insulting as the two of them wandering off to who knew where leaving him out in the cold!
On behave of everyone victimised by their rude behaviour, he will take revenge tonight.
He has a plan!
Everybody will thank him.
And he might even get some satisfaction.
Really, what sort of name was Delphi?
