I tried to meet most of the requests for your prompt, mayfly_78 , and I hope this turns out to be something you enjoy, even if not exactly what you were hoping for. I was aiming for about the year 2020 if that helps at all for the timeline. This is also my first epilogue-compliant story, so it was definitely a challenge and a learning experience for me. I hope I have captured the children well. (Also, there are bonus points if you remember where in the novels "Barny" came from.)
