"maybe i think too much..."
so today was ok. i was working at coding when sara came into the lab after she had been attending the yearly meeting in which faculty discuss the students behind closed doors. she came to tell me that (though i didn't hear it from her) it was an obvious "scott love-fest" in there. it seems i made the best grade in my neuropsych class (which was 4 bio students and 2 developmental), which is more a bio class than it is a developmental class. so hooray for that, right. and so that professor had some very nice things to say. then the bio faculty who was on my quals committee piped up with his positive remarks. laura was aparrently the last to join in.
so that was really nice to hear. i mean, it's not every day that you get to hear what people think about you, much less your superiors/teachers. after that meeting, students meet with their professor to discuss their performance for the year. i wonder what laura will say...
