it's been a while.....
hey hey hey, i guess i'll update. it has been sooooooo freakin hot lately, it sucks big donkey dick. and not just outside, i mean in my apartment too. The air is broken and last night it got up to like 90 degrees in here. boooo, but supposedly the guy came and "fixed" it today, so we'll see if it stays cool.
um, what else has been going on...well, one night, one of the guys that work here called up to my apartment and said that there was a mare that had cut her head, so i had to go down and look at it. well shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiza, she had like torn off all the skin from the front of her face. so i called the vet, but he was like 2 hours away, so i called my boss karen and she came and was like, yeah, that needs stitches.... so luckily, there is another large animal vet that lives a few miles away from the farm, so she came at like 9:30pm and stitched her up. it took like three hours...blah, and i had to wait there the whole time. it was kind of gross, but kind of cool at the same time. i had to try and clean it off with water before the vet came and i didn't want to touch it. it was like scraped down to the bone almost. YUCK!
Hmm, what else? I went back to Quincy last weekend to hang out with my mom for a bit and with nick. we just stayed in and watched movies and then went skinny dipping in his pool. It was cold, but it felt soooo good. The next day, my mom, nick , me and my grandparents went to fazolis to eat dinner and then i had to leave and come back here.
I'm really excited for this weekend cuz nick is coming. Although i have to work on saturday, we're getting monday off for the fourth so that rocks! Two days to sleep in!! We are going to go eat in Springfield and then watch the fireworks somewhere downtown probably. What i'm most excited about is sunday though, cuz we are going horseback riding!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!! It's at this place called riverside and it's gunna be like an hour and a half long ride. it's kind of expensive, but it will be so worth it to see nick on a horse since he's only ridden like once when he was five. hahaha, i'm gunna laugh at him all day ;) well, my lunch break is almost over and i have nothing else to type, so i'll talk to all you duuuuudes later.
