Okay - started the dream out on the room of, SOME building at Knox, I'd say the building probably was placed roughly where the tennis courts are. I was there with some Knoxians, I think Lauren, Reid, Brian P and someone else. I wanted to jump over to the roof of Seymour union, so I could jump from there to Alumni hall and then to ... soewhere - I think the apartments. About then a big voice in the sky (like the announcer voice in counter-strike) proclaimed that it was lunchtime. Everyone else convinced me to jump down off this building and start walking towards lunch.
When I touched down, I found myself holding a small, rusted, iron chair. I hustled to catch up with everone as they were already walking briskly off campus (in the direction of the soccer field near the quads). We had made it a block away from campus when I decided I wanted internet access at wherever we were eating - so I ran back, left the chair, and started stringing ethernet cord behind me. Note, that I didn't have a laptop or anything ELSE to use with said net connection, but I apparently wanted it anyhow.
Of course - by the time I got back to where I had left the crew - they had moved on. Somewhere between going back for the inernet and arriving the crowd I was walking to food with had changed into my parents, my grandparents and my sister. One helpful shopkeep told me he overheard which restaurant they were going to go eat at - it was the Baldwin Saloon (a very excellent place that only exists back in my hometown in Oregon.) So i kept walking - and eventually the scenery changed (in a bout 4 blocks) to downtown my hometown - only on the far east side near a trainyard and grain elevator, about the farthest reach of the city limits AWAY from the Baldwin Saloon.
I started making my way west - but after only 2 blocks I run into my party haeading home - back towards Knox. They had finished eating. They offered to return to the Saloon with me while I ate, but I declined. At this point I decided that I owed it to this fast food joint I had taken a shortcut through back near Knox, having trailed cat-5 through their dining section I felt duty bound to buy something there.
When I got there my family kept walking home, following my ethernet cord. I discovered that the restaurant (the fast food place had suddenly become a diner) was giving away prizes today based on clothing - if you were wearing red pants, they'd give you a free meal. I was wearing my blue pants from my BlackBelt costume from last Anime-Iowa - so no free food for me.
At about this point I woke up.
MOST strange.
