ok, the funniest comment by far so far has to be as follows:
Clay's mom came home the first day after i'd had Haileigh and showed a picture of Clay holding her to Luke, Clay's step-brother. He looks at it and says something to the effect of "that's funny, it looks like a polar bear holding a twinkie!" so now i have to get Clay to wear a white shirt and wrap Haileigh up in her yellow blanket for all to see what a "polar bear holding a twinkie" looks like:-D mwahahahaha!
ummm....trying to think if i put on here all the other interesting details of "having baby"....only took 8 hrs of labor, and maybe about 10 mins of pushing (2 and a half contractions, you push 3 times through each contraction)....pushed through the first one, dr started getting the rest of her garb on and told me to push next contraction i felt, so i did and she had to have me stop pushing in the middle 'cause she wasn't ready Haileigh was getting here sooooo fast! once Dr was ready i pushed through the next contraction and pop out she came! for those that may wonder i only tore a little, have about 3 stitches:-D which is VERY good news. i took the epidural, even though i'd planned not to. the anesthesiologist Dan was dubbed "the most wonderful man ever" by me as he got rid of my pain:-P Clay's mother's hand was bruised for a couple days as she was allowing me to squeeze her hand as hard as i needed to every 4-ish minutes (thank you sooooo much Charlotte!!!!!!!!!) i apparently almost tried to break/dislocate Clay's pinkie finger, he didn't like holding my hand after that:-D lol
more later it's about time to go take care of Haileigh now:-D nite nite!!
