Oh Dear God...
Last night while watching TV I came across something that I'm almost embarassed to admit that I watched and thoroughly enjoyed.
I Love New York
Yes, the crazy bitch that Flava Flav dubbed "New York" has her own show in VH1 now. She says she lost at love twice with Flav (no shit, you're CRAZY) and now she's on a mission to find her one true love, and thanks to VH1, everyone in America gets to come along for the ride. I hate Flav, as we're all aware...but New York...she's a piece of work. Totally insane. But yet, I find myself wanting more.
The show was hilarious. She gave the guys her own nicknames in the first episode, which was a laugh riot because they were in a line and they came up to her and her mom and told them what they thought their nickname should be. One guy's name is "Whiteboy" because he's like a mix of every white ethnicity, haha. Then there's the totally corn-fed white guy who suggested his nickname be "T-Money" because that's what his "boys" called him in college, mind you, at the time he's wearing a bright pink polo with a hideous green blazer, New York said that he reminded her of a watermelon and she wondered if he dressed that way on purpose because supposedly black people really like watermelon. hahahaha. One of my personal favorites was a guy she called "Romance" because he spent just about his whole time talking to her about his dead dog. He had a stupid kick-me type of dog he named Princess that tragically just died (it fell down the stairs...any dog that dies just plain ol' falling down the stairs isn't really a dog to begin with...) and he told New York he thought they were meant to be because she's got the word Princess tattooed on her titty. Wow dude, that's insightful. And Chance, he's this total thug guy that somehow got on the wrong side of her mom and her mom's totally pissed that New York didn't cut him in the first round. Such drama! haha
I hope all of you who love Flava Flav are able to catch this show because it's a doozy. Makes me totally wonder what's wrong with the world today, but then I realize, shit, I'm watching this so I'm helping to booster it's popularity....and yet I can't change the channel.
I think I'm going to TiVo it so I don't miss any of the drama.
