It seems to be that time of year again. Shark Week is very important to Shiro, so he persists in nudging me in the side whenever I fall asleep, so I don't miss the third reruns at 5 AM. Perhaps he hasn't been eating enough?

It's educational, at least. If I ever need to have an involved debate about sharks in English class, I predict full marks.

I would tend to agree... and yet, there's a strange fascination to it.

Sharks are amazing, but I guess I just prefer furrier things.

I suppose there's something in the human consciousness that enjoys the threat of being eaten every so often.
