Singing cups of water

I would just like to say that science is not a political ideal. People politicize science. Stem cell research is not political, it is an ethical debate. Scientists may be liberal, conservative and they may influence their work - but the ideal of science, the looking, the researching, the testing, the verifying, the understanding, the explaining, is not a political thought one way or another and the men who try to politicize it will find that we as a society will suffer if they succeed.

And now something I found on Stef's Journal that I thought could be fun and entertaining!

I think this entire thing works better if you click the view link and then from their click contribute to DaricT. How exciting! Information on the Johari Window: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johari_window. I know it's a Wikipedia article, and mostly I abhore this thing because of its capacity to be wrong, but this was a little insightful, haha.
