I had my first midterm today, in American Lit. II. It went very well I think, there wasn't much more that I could have done to prepare for it. Now I have to start studying for my next two midterms, fantastic.
My journalism professor told us last week that he will be resigning at the end of the semester due to his mother's death and the resulting desire to be closer to his family in NY. I felt really bad for him, but it made a positive change in my schedule in that he rescheduled our Thursday morning class so as to have all of his classes on Tuesdays. (He did that because he flies to NY every week, and this way he can leave Tuesday night and return the following Tuesday morning without hindering our valuable educations.) So this was great for me because Thursday morning follows Wednesday night, as you may have known, and Wednesday is party night. Not having this class on Thursday morning gives me an extra hour to sleep in after staying up really late. Great, right? Well, yesterday I get an e-mail from the English Dept. Chair explaining that Professor Watson had resigned today. (Yesterday) But no worries, she said, because a professor who previously taught the class has agreed to take over, thus reinstating our original schedule. Bummer.
Ed is on tonight. I don't think you seriously comprehend how much I look forward to Ed every week. I'm not sure it's healthy.
Doo doo doo doo... what else?
I went to MSU last weekend and had an awesome time visiting Susan and Jessica. Susan and her boyfriend took me to the football game, and it was SUCH a blast. I've never been to a football game, but now I'm a complete fan. I made Chase explain everything to me and told him that I'm going to start watching games with him. He was delighted.
My cousin just got engaged! Her poor boyfriend, I mean fiance, has not realized that she planned the whole wedding within 1.5 days after his sort of proposal. This will be the most unconventional wedding ever, but I get to be in it!
I've become quite addicted to pinball and Super Smash Brothers lately. See, the distractions never end!
