List format just seemed so much easier.
Here's what's been going on lately:
-Went to the movies with Sean and had a very good time. My mom loved him, but my dad has yet to meet him. I went to the Philosophy Discussion group with him last week, I had no idea he was so smart. Kyle was there, and they didn't seem to like each other very much, so it's a good thing that Sean doesn't know we dated. After that we went to the library and he helped me study for my Spanish exam. We were supposed to go out last night, but my dad said no. So much for having permission to date. We are planning on going out again this Saturday, if my dad goes back to being exceedingly nice. (It was really weired for a while. When I first asked him if I could go to the movies with Sean, he just said "Yes, have a good time." Didn't even ask to meet him. Then I told him that the girls were thinking about taking a road trip to Chicago over mid-winter break, and he said yes. He didn't even ask if there were going to be chaperons or boys coming. He was being so nice, I thought he might be dying. But then he went back to normal, kind of a bitter-sweet relief.)
-Mom and Sayf have been in Florida for two weeks, they come back this Tuesday. I actually really really miss them. Sayf called to tell us that he went swimming all day and didn't even drown.
-I won the column audition for the newspaper. Sean and another person won the editorial audition and another guy won the entertainment audition. Ms. Freeman read my first draft last week and told me that it sounded "too intelligent." I was mad, for a really long time. I'm currently on draft number 5.
-We finally got a new manager yesterday. He's cutting everyone's hours so he can bring some employees from his old store. That pisses me off. Sharif told him that I am worth six people, Jerese is worth 5, Andy is worth 4 and Isaac is worth 1/2. Just when I started enjoying going to work and making a lot of money, he cuts my hours. Jerk.
-I realized that I am not over Chad... at all. I do really like Sean, but I feel like I am not being fair to him. Ahhh! I HATE being a girl!
-Mr. Chapman asked me to play in the pit for the musical, but I can't because my schedule for newspaper is too demanding. The music was REALLY hard anyway.
-I went to Albion today to show my dad the campus and to cheer my roommate on, she had an audition for a scholarship. Dad, Sharif, Cheyenne and Kitty all came. That was a trip. I am never going anywhere with them ever again. Ever.
-Exams went really well, so much better than I thought. Report cards are coming soon.
