Colby's life letely: Band, band, band and more band.
Okay, here's what's been happening lately.
I auditioned for a column in the school paper. My audition article was on kindness and the lack of it. It's being reviewed and judged by a panel right now, I really hope I get it, I think it was a pretty well written article.
Last Thursday we had band practice from 6:30-8:00 pm, then a concert at 3:00 on Sunday. We had practice again today from 6:00 to 8:30, and we miss school all day tomorrow for our concert at U of M. We perform at the Power Center at 11:00. I've spent so much time practicing lately, I don't think that I've ever been so sick of band. I'm also kind of upset that we have to miss school the Friday before exams, I could really use that time.
Exams are going to kick my butt. I can't focus at all lately and my math teacher is frustrating me so much! Spanish is okay, I got 11/12 on my oral exam and we take the rest of the exam next week. Psychology is peachy, as well and Creative Writing. I'm not too worried about band, even though I don't know anything, I always seem to get by. Newspaper should be okay. Darn precalc/trig.
Tuesday and Wednesday I worked from 4-10, tomorrow I work from 4-10, Saturday I actually have a date in the afternoon, then I work from 4-10. I should be getting an awfully hefty check soon.
Sunday-STUDY STUDY STUDY! I can't WAIT to go to college. (Megan and I are going to get a fish name Bacardi for our dorm room.)
