daintylove's post about dorayaki started me on a search for wagashi (traditional japanese sweets), and I managed to find quite a few good pictures! These are just the most beautiful foods ever, I don't know how anyone can stand to eat them!

I've had the sugar candies before. I still have a bag of them. They're really good.
