(no subject)
OK, SO!
i was in this shitty mood last night.
& i was like, i need to do something to make me feel better.
& what makes me feel better?
PAINTING.
well, as some might know, i lack artistic ability.
& no, im not just saying that so everyone can be like "no you don't."
seriously, i suck at coming up with subject matter.
i can't do abstract, i can't create any unique piece of art.
i can ONLY paint people.
which i guess, is a skill that other people wouldn't mind having.
but personally, i wish i could just create things on canvas the way i can in my head, but i cant!
anyway, the point of this is to show my stuff off.

i painted joses.
because i just happened to be talking to him online when i decided to paint.
so i was just like, "hey i'm gonna paint you"
& of course he was like, "hey nella you're awesome and that would be amazing".
actually he was just like "that would be sweet", haha.
i think it's the best thing i've ever done.
maybe tied with my charcoal of Sweat from 11th grade.
well, here it is.
i'd lj-cut it but livejournal got all bajiggity.
& the cuts are all weird.
so i'm not gonna do it!

i felt so focused today.
& i'm satisfied with the outcome.
so now i feel better.
& i want to paint more & more & more.
