You said you liked random music. Go to pandora.com, it has customizable radio stations. You put in a band or song you like and it will play music of a similar nature. "The Bled Radio" rocks hard. They have a massive library of music, something like 300,000 songs. I know they have glassjaw songs but I haven't heard one off EYEWTKAB, only worship and tribute. Head Automatica works, you get heaps of pop rock with that.

talk about random?! lol.
thanks for that. i will definitely try it out. i am not kidding when i say i like random music. i'll listen to 80s one day & disney the next. i think its a healthy balance. but EYEWTKAS is nothing short of amazing. you should definitely look into getting a hold of some of those tunes. they are epic. the bled is also incredible. i was just listening to them for like the billionth time the other day, and i still managed to be blown away by their undeniable and unique talent. everything in their music is just so dumbfounding. i love it! haha ok now i'm rambling. see what happens when the topic of music comes up? i could gush for hours. it's such an art. good stuff, i tell ya.

& i'm just curious as to how you managed to stumble upon my oh so ridiculously awesome journal. hahaha. mind if i add ya up?
again, thanks for that.

Oh yeah, i just did an interest search Re: The Bled and you were a result. I was enticed further by your pic.
Yeah EYEWTKAS was at the top of my playlist for an entire year, an accomplishment never matched by anything else. I also like the bled a lot, my icon is their first EP "His First Crush" it is 5 tracks, before James was the lead singer. And well, it definitely has to be their best musical achievement if you can get past the scratchy vocals. Pedicone's drumming is like clockwork and the complexity will have you saying WTF out loud. I doubt you will be able to purchase it though, it is extremely rare and I was forced to download it. I'm sure after they conquer the world it will be a collectors item.

PS Is it ok if I friend you?

PPS On Pandora, try "Billy Idol radio", for 80's stuff.

oh, i guess i misread what you wrote. i got that you didn't listen to eyewtkas, only w&t. but it's even better that you did i guess! haha. i recognized your user pic when i first saw your comment. i was actually going to mention it before. all i was really gonna say was that it was awesome. i dont see too many bleddies with that icon. have you seen them live at all? i know they tour almost everywhere, i dont know if they ever came around you at all. if not, then you should try to one day. i've seen them like 7 or 8 times so far. they never cease to amaze me. their live shows kill. you're right about pedicone. he's my favorite drummer ever. he's just so, i dont know, his skills are too die for. the song "his first crush" & "anvil pinata" are actually some of my favorite bled songs. i love james, but i appreciate the earlier vocalist as well. either way, jeremy talley is a lyrical genius. he's brutal & i love it. so intelligent, you can just tell. what a poet. hahaha. see here i go rambling again!!! i would love to own HFC but i was ( ... )

Well I live in Sydney and to my knowledge they havn't been here yet. I tried to email them to get them to come out so me and my bro could check them out, but alas they haven't been here. Don't worry about rambling, I like it and I do it too. Half of my posts are rambles. I like HA as well, I'm looking to buy Propaganda soon. I got into them the same way as you.
Living in sydney is cool except that a lot of the music I am into, I dont get much oppurtunity to see. I have seen Poison the Well twice, when they played at the Big Day Out festival and when they toured Oz with Thursday who I also love but on the night Thursday had a bad mix and because PTW were technically their supports they didn't play as long as I would have liked. But it was still good. I really think the material off "Tear from the Red" plays so well live.
See ramble back at ya.

I dont actually do Myspace, I think LJ is enough for me, it may not be as popular but its still good.

boo, that would suck. i'm sorry that you haven't gotten to see them live yet! hopefully, one day you will get to experience it. PTW, oh PTW. i haven't listened to them in forever. Tear from the Red is so good. Botchla actually used to be my & my exboyfriends song. no wonder it didn't work out! hahah, but it is such an amazing song. oooh the goosebumps i get when i hear it! As for Thursday, i've seen them maybe twice, or three times. they just came around last month & i missed them. I havent heard their new cd yet, but i plan on it. I just havent gotten around to it. ya know what i mean ( ... )

I did a mini opinion of Thursday's new one on my journal if you want to check it out.
It's good to hear that I am not missing much with Myspace. There were tell tale signs, like this guy I know said he loved it. As soon as I heard that, I knew it was bad. I don't think there is a mirror in Sydney he hasn't star gazed into yet. Plus it was mentioned on Scary Movie 4, which means it's pop culture now so, get out before the kids get you.
So many bands I am yet to see, sigh....

Anyway, I'll keep on blogging you, cause we have a few shared interests and shared interests are so hot right now.
