I can't contact you unless it's important now? That means we're not going to have a lot to say to each other, Toshirou-kun.

[Sounding more pensive] That might be for the best though. This is pretty risky, what we're doing.

Yes we are. And after I thought about it a bit more that's why I decided I didn't need to ask the question. Everything worth having usually has some risks attached to it, and so instead of asking I'm just going to...trust you.

I just wanted to make sure you've thought about it too. I know you find it easy to dismiss your own safety but there are some kinds of hurt that don't heal very easily and I don't want to see that happen to you.

Well I can't claim to be perfect or infallible, but if it's any consolation, if I were ever forced into a position to betray you, you wouldn't have to worry about tracking me down for vengeance. I'd take my own life so you didn't have to.

But I'm more worried that someone else might find out. I hate to say it, Toshirou-kun, but you don't react your best when someone surprises you. [With amusement] Such as when Souji walked in on us that morning. In retrospect, he might have taken things the wrong way when you told him we 'just slept together'.

I didn't mean for it to come out like that! We did sleep together. It just sort of happened, and not my fault people took it the wrong way.

[More serious] My philosophy on traitors wouldn't have much meaning if it didn't apply to everyone equally, and that includes myself. I'd rather face seppuku than live with the knowledge that I'd betrayed another friend.

Well for the record, I'd really rather not die either, but those are the sort of stakes we're playing with...but you already said you don't care about the risks and I've already decided I'll take my chances, so we're set!
