There's apparently some huge spider destroying the downtown district. You can hear them calling for an evacuation of the area over the radio. The Silvana's going to try and shoot it down, so hopefully it won't get to the markets before you do.

Watch out for the little ones though. They'll be aiming for your journal and your sword.

Give me a little credit. I've spent the last couple of hours figuring out what they are capable of. The little ones are pretty harmless. They're powered by mana crystals, and once you take that out of them it's just an empty machine.

I was hoping if I brought one back to Winry she might be able to tell me more about them. Maybe we can figure out where they came from or who made them.

I, ah, know a little about magitech. Sort of. Really, the most I'm doing is just taking the magic component out of them and keeping that seperate. The rest is just clockwork and gears, and it's easy enough to make sure that part can't do any harm.

I don't think you need to worry about me too much. Just make sure you and Komachi stay safe.

There isn't really anyone to ask. I...don't really think the stones could be cursed. They seem to have just the one purpose, although if it makes you feel any better I'll see if I can find someone who can tell me more about them.
