So yesterday we went to see KOKIA. I wanted to see her because I've never been to the concert of a female japanese artist, because of the fact she's in Austria and of course, her amazing voice and compositions. We headed to the venue early, because Stephie had to do the interview. We just arrived there when KOKIA and the staff stepped out of the caravan! nice accident, huh? *_*
After long time of waiting, 19:30, we entered the 'concert hall'. It was a room with seats for 120 people (
see here), there were only a few places left. I think Haus der Musik was a good venue-choice!
It turned out that it was allowed for everyone to take photos. But still it was something different to me, so we took our reserved seats in the first row, great place to take some pics. Thanks again Steph for making it possible ;_;
At the end, some guy gave her and the guitarist roses! I really liked the guitarist, they're a great team!
KOKIA's english and german was pretty good. Her comments between the songs so cute (&funny! "please fasten your seat belts") Especially when she explained the meaning and read the translation of "chiisa na uta", before she sang the song in japanese ;_; She also sang ave maria, chouwa oto, remember the kiss & more. the whole concert took approx. 1,5h. encore was over the rainbow btw <3
Her voice is live as good as on CDs or even better. Amazing! I really got goose bumps from time to time :/
Out of all photos, I'd say this is my favorite, she looks so different here!
I felt guilty everytime i pushed the button, to capture her beauty in millions of pixel. every little noise seemed misplaced. So I didn't take that much photos, the most beautiful scenes are saved in my mind ♥
