Wow...two posts in one day...are your eyes deceiving you...heck no! :P

Ok. So I said that I was going to do a real update soon and here it is...though not very exciting. Been busy with classes, tennis, and work. That's pretty much my life. Classes are ok. They don't seem to be going too bad. I have a butt ton of reading to do. I have to finish this novel, The Mill on the Fly, by next week, then I have to read Cat's Cradle by next week too. I don't think I'll be making it up to State this weekend then (sorry Nicole). I promise though that I'll be up there soon...even if it's just for a day!

I've been working about 10 hours a week, which is nothing because my paychecks are only $120. I've been having a hard time saving money because about half of it goes to bills then the other half goes towards food (so I don't starve to death). I'm already living off mac and cheese everyday (I should probably go and invest in some easy mac and Ramen then too :P) I finally bought chicken cuz it was on sale. That was good. Raviolies were on sale too...that's what I had for dinner (in case you were wondering). Point is that I think I'm going to go talk to my manager and see if he'll up my hours to 20-25 a week.

We started tennis practice again. The first day we had eight of us. That was good because we played some matches. The second day we had 10 of us, which sucked because only 6 people can be on court at a time. I ended up sitting on the sidelines for an hour, so I just left. It was pointless to be there. The first day of practice though was the club volleyball team's match against the Korean team. Well this lady and her two kids came in to watch us hit. We asked if her son wanted to try and hit with us, and he was good. He was 9 years old and didn't have a coach to teach him to play. He was running Pat and I across the court. If I could play like that when I was 9, I would be on a college varsity team (or maybe even pro) by now.

We've gone out now on the past few Thursdays. Boomers of course. Saw the usual crowd there. LOL. This last Thursday though I dropped Candace and Lisa off at the Wayside because they wanted to continue to dance, but Jenni and I went to the Blackstone. That was fun. Some random girl was talking to me about the teaching education program and the application to student teach and all that stuff. She was funny because every other word out of her mouth was the f bomb. I also saw some other friends there that I chatted with. When Jenni was at the bar getting a drink, she thought that I was next to her, so she said that she was going to ask the price of whatever. Well it was this guy standing next to her and he just said okay and gave her this weird look. Then, she explained that she thought that he was me, and he looked at me and said I could see how you could get us confused. We're both sexy. Then he puts his arm around my shoulders and says that both him and I are sexy and cute. Matt came over last week to chill with us. We playe some euchre and such.

I've been watching the Australian Open non-stop for the past two weeks. It's been pure chaos. Hewitt got out in the second round(should have gone out in the first but he was out...yay!) Andy got out in the third round (so sad). Davenport got out in the semis to Hardenne who ended up retiring during the championship match due to an "upset stomach." Mauresmo kicked the crap out of her though before she retired. Federer should have been out before the finals...but of course not. Then he should have not won the finals but he did. Baghdatis just couldn't convert on the second set and then that last point by that stupid French umpire who I dislike with a passion overuled the set point in favor of Federer. He just couldn't recover after that.

That's pretty much been it. I've been to a few basketball games. I was really mad that I couldn't go to the one today against Western (stupid work!!!!). Apparently it was a really good game because it went into 2 overtimes before Central lost. Tony Bowne though did come through the drive-thru. LOL. Well that's about it from here. It's almost February...time's flying!

Oh I almost forgot about yesterday's fiasco. Well I got up about 12:45 PM and hopped in the shower. I was in the middle of my shower when the lights went off. Now I don't know why, but my first reaction was that somebody was in the bathroom, turned off the lights, and was going to kill me. Insane I know...but it was like a horror movie, and I had just woken up from a nightmare where someboday was trying to kill me. It turns out that our whole building was without power. It sucked. The transformer was messed up, but the apartment complex workers had no clue what was going on and blah, blah, blah. Lisa and I decided to go out to eat since it was 5 PM, and we still had no power. That meant our stove didn't work since it was electric and we couldn't eat anything but cereal. We went to Crankers Coney Island which has......HANI'S!!!!!! YES IT DOES!!!!! You can imagine my excitement since now I don't have to go all the way home for one. They use the exact same chicken, cheese, and pita for it too. Even the pickle tastes the same. LOL. Plus...they're going to be open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday nights starting February 2nd. I found my new food spot after we go out...unless of course I'm craving breakfast...which will always be Little Chef!
