Words To Live By
Sometimes I just need a reminder to think about these things. I know livejournal is pretty cheesy & outdated but whatever I felt the urge. haha
Be happy with what you have. No one will ever have everything.
Everything happens for a reason.
Life is not fair.
Don't ask other people's permission to live your life.
We make mistakes for a reason: to learn from them!
Forgive yourself for your mistakes.
Forgive others for their mistakes- to err is human but to forgive is divine.
Do onto others what you would wish they'd do onto you. (i know we learned this in like kindergarten but still)
Take risks.
Be true to yourself and do what makes you happy.
Move on and forward when it is needed no matter how hard it is.
If you love something, let it go and if it comes back to you then it is truly yours.
Live each day as if it were your last.
This year has been the biggest roller coaster in my life. I thought that senior year was going to be relaxing but more has happened in this one year I think than in any other year of highschool. It's been amazing and horrible in the same week & I never know what's going to happen next. I learn something knew almost everyday and I'm finally understanding how hard it really is to be a teenager. It feels really good to know that we're all going through the same thing though. But in general I know how lucky I am & I just don't want to take certain things for granted especially because I have no idea where I'm going to be next year. Everyone talks about how they can't wait to get out, & in some ways I really can't wait either, but the thing is, I am Absolutely Terrified.
I owe most of my happiness to few certain people. They have kept me sane this year & they know who they are. I love you :D
