the battle of lexington and concord

cheers, all! gather here, all, to hear all the endearing words of a flightless bird, tonight. though quite absurd, they're rightly slurred to stir herds of thoughts in mindfields taut with non-verbs. words that, if left unheard, will right themselves by writing themselves in verses free of rhyme or reason. so, with the treason of ignorance no longer ignored, the season of boredom like autumn[,] leaves, soared to pass. now, fallen back, the past is fact from which to learn. history lessons earn this lessened turmoil of turns already taken by taking time to remind us that this already happened, snapping us out of actions far too familiar in fashion. infractions of inaction are, in fact, what catch us in a twenty two. perhaps few have viewed this angle of metaphor: the notion of war... but before us lies a compromise of words unsaid. at its head a gun is pointed, disappointed to shout without a bullet that will count, that will amount to something... we want rounds that make a sound when no one's listening, so when down it falls, this moment we can call 'the shot heard round the world.'
