HELL. YEAH.
I frickin' LOVED this show when I was a kid. I am thrilled that it's on Hulu now. And I just discovered they released the first season on DVD! I'll pick up a copy the next time I do a job for my parents or get some other form of income. But for now, Hulu!
To be brutally honest: it's not quite as good as I remember it, but it's close and still pretty sweet. Probably the most complex and mature "kids cartoon" ever released in the USA. Lots of complex themes, the occasional brilliant piece of imagery, and interesting (if sometimes predictable) messages. It was unique for a kid's show in that it wasn't always clear who the good guys were, if you really stopped to think about it. They also weren't afraid to kill off main characters (quite a few, actually). Also, some very clever writing and great voice-acting. The animation...ehh, not so hot. But superb music.
This show was a formative influence on me. Understand this show and you will better understand me.
