Highlights of my weekend
Here are a few highlights from the bachlorette weekend of booze, I mean fun:
Stephy having issues realizing that 50% of what came out of Beth's mouth before they got to the cabin was a lie. This probably needs a little bit more background information, but essentially for Stephy bachlorette party we rented a cabin in the middle of nowhere, brought lots and lots of booze, and Beth was in charge of getting Stephy there, without her knowing what was going on, and it worked. The directions written on Beth's hand were "file numbers", the fact that they were traveling west, and not east (they were going to the "pocono's" for the weekend) only got a few questionable objections from Stephy. After Stephy got there, the fun began and we procceded to drink ourselves silly till 4am, maybe 4:30, possibly 5 (did I mention we were really drunk). We also, had loud, inappropriate convorsations on our balcony (mainly about breasts and nipples). We even got security called on us, however security was doing such a crackpot job, that instead of coming over at 4am and telling us to shut the hell up already, they showed up at 1ish the next afternoon, asking when our "men were coming back" because apparently 8 women cannot possibly A. rent a cabin for the weekend and/or B. get that drunk and make that much noise.
We woke up too damn early, about 9am, and I personally was pretty sure I was still drunk, and had to send Jess and Jen out for food, because we had some vegtables, a bit of cheese and that was it, and after a 35min each way drive to Wally World, we got breakfast. We also checked on Beth, who had ended the previous evening with emptying the contents of her stomach, and apparently could not stop for most of the day. We left her alone, sleeping in the cabin while a bunch of us (Dana, Stephy, Megan, Mari and myself, Jess and Jen are allergic to sunlight) went to the water park, which was a very sad water park with extrememly apathetic lifegaurds, but it was fun all the same. most of the stuff was pretty slow with brief hints of excitement, though they did have to slide things that you go down on mats, and well, I feared for my life the one time I attempted it, but the inner tube things were really fun, as was the kiddy park, where we, sadly, spent most of our time.
Saturday night we decided to go out, and so we started early with our adventure. Jen did eveyones hair, with a curling iron and tons of product and we all looked great. She also did my makeup (yes, I wore makeup) and damn did I look fine. After we are all ready, we head out, to Altona, an hour away, because according to the person at the front desk when we called a few months ago about the nightlife around the place where we were staying, we were told that we would frighten the people of the closest towns. :) So we find a bar thanks to Jess's friend who lives in the area, and then start of the evening right, a shot, and singing Karaoke to Stephy (we sang "Chapel of love") and then some dancing, and yes we got Stephy to dance, followed by a few guys hitting on Megan, and one guy after being rejected by Megan started hitting on Mari. Some other fun facts about this bar, the bottoms of the stall doors in the girls bathroom was higher (higher!!) the the seat, so it would not of been very difficult for someone to see everything.
I am sure there is a ton of stuff I am forgetting, but I do not care.
