that sucks. now's the time for you to bust over to Texas and made a drama-filled romantic gesture.

well actually he's in Alabama. In a fraternity. Yes, i was once in love with a frat boy. good lord.
and i WAS considering showing up one day wearing my "Mrs. King" t-shirt (yes, i have one, in case you were wondering) and pointing to it and being like "yeah, sorry lady, already happened..." etc. etc. etc.

What a random state! Alabama! Pah! At least it's not a Dakota. Those places suck. More importantly, however, is the knowledge that very few college relationships actually work out, my friend. So he may be engaged to be """married""", but you could still win him over.
not that i'm necessarily encouraging you to continue your long-lived love for senor King, because it's not particularly healthy, but...glimmers of hope are always nice :)

Well, you're right about the college-relationship thing.
And i have given up on my long-lived love for Mr. King (that's right, we're doing it the american way...no senor here!) but it just caught me off guard to see that he was engaged. I guess it would be like if David got engaged for you. You don't still love him, but it would still hurt a little just the same.

ah, yes, well...that's understandable. it's definitely weird. but i'm happy for you, being over MR. King; that's the first step to finding your hubby. He needs a hypothetical name...Galph comes to mind, for whatever reason.
