Our first Baby Shower!
So this past Saturday was our first baby shower, thrown by Michelle and Matthew (who drove all the way down from northern cal!), and Shell and Brian. It was such a beautiful shower, so many people came, people i haven't seen in years! It was all so touching and overwhelming...and much like at a wedding, it was hard to get around and catch up with everyone, but i hope everyone knows how much it meant to us that they were all there!
So here are some pics...i was really disappointed in myself...i didn't take nearly as many pictures as i had hoped to, and i really wanted to get a lot of group shots, but that didn't happen. =(
We did however, get Polaroid pictures of everyone that came...they put together a photoguest book (like the one i had people do for Cindy) so that was awesome cuz people wrote special messages to us and to Bean, and then we have their polaroid of the day attached to the page =)
On a different note, it's really weird to look at all these pics and see how big i've gotten. Not just the belly, but now i'm starting to hit the whole swelling and retaining water phase that everyone talks about...my arms, legs, and face are so much bigger than usual!! blah. damn celebrities making you think that you'll only gain weight in your tummy and hips...

After the shower, a bunch of people came back to our place to watch the USC Beating of Ohio State.

The morning after, we made breakfast for Michelle and Matthew before they had to go. We had waffles, bacon and fruit...and some darn good french vanilla coffee! Then we snapped a couple pics before they headed out...
