About This Style -- Flowery
Okay, okay, I know this style is girly. But I hope that readers do not judge me harshly on it. I worked very hard to make a beautiful, functional, bright, warm, elegant style, and I think I succeeded.
I sort of view this style as a subtle joke. I am not ultra feminine, vapid, or cutesy, so I made this style with more than a hint of irony. However, I do have a girly, cutesy side.
I made this style from scratch, and the layout and positioning of things is probably 95% CSS based. It's the most CSS-ed website I've ever made, so I'm proud of it. I went to great pains to make it completely standards compliant, both CSS and HTML. Therefore, seeing as how Internet Explorer is not standards compliant, there's a stupid pink bar on the right hand side of the screen.
Therefore this style looks better in Mozilla. But it still looks okay in IE. I really would suggest that you use Mozilla anyway: you can block popups, and annoying ad banners, and all that yummy stuff. Plus, it is standards compliant, which is always good.
