I am struggling to think of art projects I can do on wednesday under the theme of africa.
So far:
Patterns - printing - junk block (paintings with these patterns?? all I can find are silly computer generated ones!)
Masks - africans are big on busts apparently
Paper bead and pendant making for jewellery
Weaving - clothing / fabric
Hand prints for the little ones based on nelson mandela's 'The Left Hand' Lithograph - front covers / symmetry and looking at mixing colours
Making pots and texture / pattern making
I found an abstract painting of an african woman which I could use in teaching how to blend / mixing colours
Maybe find some houses / food that african's eat and draw them / design some homes
I dunno
