Because of the unhappiness of the past week and the fact that both nakednsf and I have been working like 
DOGS, I decided to treat us to a mini-getaway at Cavallo Point, the recently opened lodge located on the grounds of Fort Baker at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin.
The rack rate on the suite that I wanted was c-razy. But it helps to have a concierge friend who helped open the joint and could get us a friends & family rate that is about a quarter of what it usually costs. Yay me!
We'll be up there Saturday night in a beautiful modern suite with a view of the GGB and the bay, a fireplace and a soaking tub.
I for one think we friggin earned it.
