I know nothin about no Palin

For the rest of today, I'm going to pretend there has been no news about McCain's pick for VP.

Although, I will say this: his pick does send a good message. With Palin, McCain is saying that in order to be VP, all you need to be is a) a woman, b) not old and c) have a beautiful wave perfected by years spent competing in beauty pageants.

No, I'm going to continue to vibrate with excitement over Barack Obama and his absolutely breathtaking speech last night. That man definitely has a gift for oratory, not to mention charisma, two qualities that are key to winning the Presidency.

Throughout the primaries, I was all about Hillary. I thought she was the best candidate until she started losing. Then, she totally fucking blew it and became a poor loser.  Obama won the fight fairly, and instead of graciously conceding, she did everything she could to try to steal the nomination from him.  That's disgusting.  Last week, I actually told my mother, who has never trusted Hillary, "Mom, i'm sorry. You were right about Hillary."

At first, I just fell in line behind Obama. But now, I'm all excited. I hope he runs a solid campaign and runs right over that senior citizen and whatshername... uh.... Suzanne Sugarbaker.
