I hate sickness!
So, today kind of sucks. I found out that this woman, who I've known practically all of my life, has cancer. The C-word. It sucks. Why do people that I care about have to get that? I hate it!!! This woman has been through so much. Her first husband was a jerk who abused her. Her second husband left her for her niece. The man she had fallen in love with died last summer and two or three years ago she was attacked in her home. Now she has to deal with this too.
To her credit, she tackles everything with a laugh and an amazing sense of humor, but WHY HER?? I mean, she has so much faith and she has definitely had her share of trials so why is God putting her through this. IT's just not fair. If I hear the word's life's not fair just once i think I'll go insane.
Have you ever heard that bad things happen in threes? I heard it from someone once when I was a kid and three people had passed away in a fairly close time span. Well, a friend of a friend just lost her younger sister, now my friend has cancer...what's going to happen next?
But anyway, back to my friend. She is such an amazing woman. She always sings this song once she gets over something and I can't help but post it now. I pray that she will be okay because she has already overcome so many other things.
