In which I am flabbergasted....
So there's no denying 2016 has been an absolutely horrible year for celebrity deaths. This week was particularly brutal with Victoria Wood dying on Wednesday and then Prince dying yesterday.
But this is not what has my gast flabbered.
We were sitting in the canteen at tea break this morning, 6 girls around the table, and one says, "I never knew Prince wrote Nothing Compares 2 U for Sinead O'Connor" and all the others agreed, they didn't know that either.
And I thought to myself, okay, I'm about 6,7 years older than these girls, they're not big music fans or pop culture junkies, so you know, don't say anything, live and let live.....
And then one of the girls volunteers the fact that she always gets confused between Prince and Freddie Mercury.

And that dear f-list is when I picked up the phone and WhatsApp'ed helsinkibaby telling her this story and adding an FML for good measure!!
Seriously, how??!?!?!
