stability
in the past week, i haven't stayed in one city for more than 3 days.
spring break came and went.
i got to spend 2.5 days in LA to hang out with friends & family.
i've travelled to TOO many cities to finally see familiar faces and a place to stop, pause, and take a breather.
this LA trip was more quality than ever-- i was so limited on time that every second had to be accounted for.
had lots of boba @ tea station, ate lots of shaved ice with good friends, and spent lots of de-stressing time with my dear mum.
and then 2.5 days were over and it was off to SF.
i definitely know SF traffic really well now.
ANNND i know the inside of the San Francisco Hilton like the back of my hand.
3 full days of hardcore conferencing left me & b. draaaained.
it was also a blessing that SRA was held there because i got to spend time with MYRA & DEB!
we had all-you-can-eat hotpot, bbq, shaved ice and boba. THAT was my idea of heaven.
I got to meet their scary fat cat, catch up on each others' lives and just chillll.
When we went for dinner @ the Metreon, i got to see TOM HO by pure coincidence!
TOM HO! How long has it been since I last saw him or heard from him? 5 years or something?? Dayam. It was awesome.
Met B's friends too and saw some ghetto areas of richmond.
Great experience all in all.
Met some academic celebs, shook lots of hands, experienced terrible pain from wearing heels for 3-straight-days, and spent a lot of $$ on food.
Academia, man. WhAT. A. TRIP. i can't even explain in words what SRA was like. i was so overwhelmed on the first day.
3 days after being in SF, we flew back to Smith last night.
Longest flight of my life. And we worked on the plane too.
I got to have today and I will have tomorrow.
Day after tomorrow, I'm flying out to Nebraska to check out the program/school/faculty/students.

maybe i'll make my decision on-the-spot.
sigh.
oh, and get this: thesis is due in <3 weeks.
