Is there anybody out there?
Well, I have not posted since my last birthday. Nothing much has changed since then. In July we added to our family. A tiny little kitten, "Casey". Like most kittens, Casey is hell on wheels! lol.
Our children are keeping their heads above water, out on their own. Just about every Sunday we have a Family Dinner. I think we spend more time together for that ONE MEAL than we have for a long time.
The "Blue Meanies" creep up on me every now & then. Well, they have a tight grip on me right now. I happen to be on vacation from work right now, instead of things getting better, it seems to get worse. My wife did not have last week off, she does have 3 days off next week. Hopefully my parents will let us use the Cabin, they are there right now.
I received tickets to the Oct 2nd Seattle Mariners game from Ballard Little League as a Thank You for being an Umpire. As it turns out, this game is Edgar Martinez Night. The house will be jumpin'! 'Gar played his entire Major League career with the Mariners, a rarity in Sports these days. 'Gar is retiring after this season. Wifeperson wishes not to go to the game, so the kiddies will go with dear-ol-dad.
In the U.S. it is now election time, it's not until NOvember, but the BS has been flying for quite a while now. I have never been a member of any political party, nor will I ever be... Watching the adds on the telly I wonder "Do they read the BS that they are putting out?". So many times it seems that the names can be interchanged, meaning, why they say about the other guy, can be applied to themselves.
Well, here's to a few months away from LJ, lol.
