Line Dancing for Dummies
Last night I went line dancing with my girlfriends Steph and Merideth. We headed out to this place in Lakewood/Long Beach known as Cowboy Country. www.cowboycountry.mu On certain nights they have free line dancing lessons and couple's lessons. Couples start at 7pm and line dancing for all at 8. Allright so obviously the three of us sat out couples, not because we were all women with no dates, but because we were an odd number waiting for dinner.
8pm rolls around, and it's LINE dancing time! The dance they teach is us known as the Cha Cha Groove. "Allright" I think. "I can handle this. That couple's 2 step looked easy enough." Well good lordy it was NOT! Steph and I kept running into each other, stepping on each other, and doing so many spins we got disoriented and turned towards the wrong direction! Haha.
Next time I go I think I am bringing a partner...
