Updates on Japan - getting closer!

The certificate will be sent to you by Japanese Postal Service tomorrow, the 23rd of March in our Japan time.
Due to the current earthquake, it would take more time to get to you.

AHHHAAAAHHHHHHH!!! Looks like my visa application DIDN'T DECIDE TO MOVE OUT TO SEA!!
Now I will admit, I'm really freaking out. Excited, and scared. Once I get this in the mail, I have to drive my ass to Detroit to the nearest Japanese consulate (well, do I have to? Or would any issue the visa? Detroit is listed as issuing to Ohio, but going somewhere like Chicago or Nashville may be more enjoyable *aka I may not have such a high rate of getting shot at*). Isn't their English cuuuute?
Really have to visit my students now. I haven't, even though I said I would last week. Feeling a bit guilty.
IT'S HOT OUT. For the past 2 days it's been in the mid 70's. Right now it's 70 on the nose. I love it! I even slept with my window open last night. Even the animals are enjoying it -- at the secret park last night, I ran into quite a few yearlings and they were playing with each other like crazy. IT WAS ADORABLE! AND I FORGOT MY CAMERA!
Oh yeah, I had my going away party on Saturday and it was really fun. Lots of people came, and lots of adults gave gifts (items on my list were: Special K Red Berries cereal, Nacho Cheese Doritos and Reese Cups. VERY ODD, but makes sense because NONE OF THOSE exist in Japan! Oh noes!) I also got a book about Japan (is it wrong that I do not own one?! LOLZ) and money to Best Buy, Kroger and just plain money. Everything's gonna come in handy for sure. Some people didn't come, even though they said they would. That's just stupid, people. Don't act like that -- one of my friends didn't show up because his ex-girlfriend is my BESTIE and was there. What a little bitch (not her! HIM!). Oh well, I had fun! Good food too.
DUDE. J-LEAGUE SOCCER NEWS!! Eh, it isn't returning for at least another 2 weeks, but some teams are hosting charity matches and you KNOW at least Gamba's game will be televised. Justin TV... someone better be airing that shit! I have missed my J-League like no other. Actually, I watched the 'Gambare! J-League Highlight Show!' from a few weeks back and cried at the introduction because I knew it'd be off the air for over a month. Pathetic. But it's coming back... and maybe this postponement will allow me to see Gamba more than once this upcoming season! WOOOOO!!
I need to shower. And eat. Yep!
