Do you see the parking lot over thurr?

So my parents have been out of town since early Saturday morning.

I decided to use this time to prove, mostly to myself, that I can take on the "adult responsibilities" of living on one's own. You know, in case Japan happens.

Let's see, I cleaned Saturday, Sunday and today (though not as much). My mom is pretty damn messy and I had a friend over Saturday night for soccer watching and video games. So I spent 4ish hours doing laundry, sorting through crap in multiple rooms, watering the yard and cleaning my car a bit. Sunday I vacuumed my room, dusted, did linens, watered the yard AGAIN, finished all the laundry and get this.... BAKED COOKIES.
FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE.
Like, Betty Crocker, crack an egg, use an entire stick of butter and mix until your hands are about to fall off.
I DID GREAT. The first batch were pretty large, and I made sure they were done... so they're a bit more brown/gold. The second batch is much lighter and overall better. I don't like crunchy cookies, so the second batch is perfect. Oh my God it's so pathetic that I'm 24 and just NOW, IN MY LIFE, baked something. Still, it shows me I can survive.

I have a strong feeling that whenever I get on my own, wherever it may be, I will be an extreme neat freak. Once I start cleaning, it's like I keep finding more crap that can be sorted, pitched, vacuumed, dusted... I can't turn into one of those women. Some clutter is good.

Living alone is fun. Thankfully I think my parents are going back out of town in a few weeks to visit my grandpa in Florida. GOOD, GET THE HELL OUT. They should take extended vacations. Or just move out. Ha. Me and the dog are doing pretty darn good without them. Lexi's even been going to the park with me for the past two days. She's fast and spastic so she doesn't let me walk very slow.

Japan's National Team won Friday morning, 1 - 0 against ARGENTINA. UHM, HELLO? THAT'S FUCKING AMAZING!!!! I couldn't watch the game, but ESPN's 360 website freaking posted the entire match and I came home that afternoon and plopped down to watch. Very thrilling. Tomorrow they play -gasp- South Korea in Seoul. HUGE rivals and of course the game starts at 7 am when I'm driving to work..... gay. I expect 360 to post that game and I'm dying for a win. If they win tomorrow, Japan would have won all their games since the World Cup. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Too bad I can't wear my jersey. Then again, I'd literally murder someone if they got ketchup or something on it.
GAMBARE NIPPON!! Seriously, you better win this one.
