Logan/Matt: First Meeting: for mrmcmatthews
It wasn't a typical day out walking - for one thing, Matt had to carry Max along as Ally yipped and pattered about his feet. She was half-jealous at the attention and excited to be off her lead for the first time. It couldn't be helped, Max had just come back from the vets and needed a little more TLC than the older pup did.
Matt loved both his kids equally, of course he did - but he was fair.
They were polar opposites, Ally the more adventurous and outgoing, Max sort of well, like him, he guessed. Reserved, a little softer, kinder. And, as such, his attention pulled down - he didn't notice until he had passed by the open school gate that the small bundle of black fur and mischief had bounded inside to frolic in the grass nearby a few kids! Matt doubled back and made his way in, intending just to scoop her up and be on his way.
Unfortunately, the children who had milled around spotted the man with yet another puppy in his arms and made a beeline straight for him.
