My family is considering starting Netflix. Do any of you have any insight from using it yourself? How did you like it? Do you prefer it over renting movies at a rental store?

We've had Netflix for a while now and love it, especially since they got a warehouse in Boise so now we get our movies FAST! We also have Clearplay (editing DVD player/service) so we don't have to worry too much about getting junk in movies. :-)

I believe Netfix is the same as a Broadband deal we have going here and that our family is on. (Actually we're on a trial run for a year FREE :D).

I personally prefer going to the video store and renting. That way I can rent what I want and when I want it. Dad usually does most of the 'renting' online from Broadband and usually rents thing's that don't interest me as much because its for the little kids but I'm not complaining.
If you live a little way from a video rental then it might be helpful for you to get them sent in the mail. Especially if your in the country.

The thing is that, if you decide to have a movie night on the spur of the moment, you can't just go online and rent one and have it delivered to your door step in a few minutes.

For me, there's just 'something' about going to a video store and having all the choice and options surround you, and I find it much more fun to go out and rent something. But that's not a liable 'excuse' or point so I don't know why I'm even saying it ( ... )
