friends are special.
I had a great weekend. On Friday at 2pm just as I got out of my english class I rush out to the parking lot to find my sweet little friend Brittney Spears....jk Brittney Pluim, but I like to call her Britney Spears. She drove 85 miles to malibu to visit me. I was sooo happy. I showed her around campus and introduced her to my favorite people here and we planned to go to dinner later with a bunch of people. Amanda Sowder also came over (Amanda Sowder gave her life to Christ at like the beginning of this school year and is like a totally different person now, the change is incredible) At about 7:30 on friday night about 10 of us girls went to P.F. Changs which is this really amazing chinese restraunt. FOr those of you who have not had the luxary of eating there, I highly recommend it, it sure puts Ho HO's to shame!!! After dinner we went back to pepperdine and just kinda hung out and talked.
Saturday morning Brittney and I went to breakfast and then walked down to the beach and Old Malibu Road that is at the bottom of this awesome trail that I jog. We also went walking around the neighborhood to look around at all of the amazing houses. It was really fun, and kinda tiring, those hills...man! She had to leave at 12 because she had to work at 5. I loved hanging out with her. I really miss brittney, she is a changed girl also. SUch a blessing pleasant Godly girl to be around. I cant wait to go home so I can spend more time with her.
Saturday night I went to see one of the student directed plays here at pepperdine called "A Look Back at Anger". It was a very long show but I loved it. It was 3 hours and fifteen minutes long, and i thought I was going to be bored out of my mind, but I loved it. Marc didnt like it as much as I did. Free starbucks on sat night too because eric was working !! YAY, tastes better when its free:) On sunday went to church in the morning and that was nice. Today went to class and read a book and worked out and now here I am! Its been good. Hope you aall are doing well. I am going back to riverside for summer in exactly one month from today!
