Hola!
Finally had a very nice, well deserved relaxing weekend! I didn't have to clean the house, no places that I had to be. So very, very nice!
Went to Borders to spend my Christmas gift card. And after walking around the store for at least an hour I finally made my selections. Atonement, The Golden Compass, Cold Mountain, and The Horse and his Boy. I'm somewhat surprised that the cashier didn't make a comment on how all my books reflected movies in some way. *shrugs* What can I say, I feel bad when I've seen the movie but haven't read the book. Atonement and Cold Mountain were so good, I felt compelled to read the books. And The Golden Compass has been on my list forever, and I saw the movie and was not thrilled so I'm hoping the book will be better.
Then I went to Target, and damn them, they had some really good sales! Got How I Met Your Mother the first season on DVD for $20, and then Harry Potter 2 and 3 for $10 a piece. And then I found Steel Magnolia's for $5!!!
I also got the Sweeny Todd soundtrack. I've been listening to it pretty much nonstop for the last 2 days.
Hmmm....maybe it's better when I don't have time off, I don't think my wallet can take much more of this.
Oh, and I went apartment hunting too...since this is hopefully going to be the LAST move for a while, I am being really picky and very thorough. Based on the few hours I spent on Sunday, this is going to take a while. uughh.
