(no subject)
oh man, i fail at el-jay. i've been reading everybody's stuff but that's about it. sorry for the quietness kids. but...warning... from here on out things are about to get BUSY at my main job and with this whole part time thing my free time is seriously vanishing. but i love you all, and i will make every effort to be around.
so my vacation was excellent. spent 10 days in portland/seattle. lots of sleeping, catching up on tv, reading and just hanging out with my nephew. i definitely feel rested and refreshed and ready to tackle life again. which is a good thing because after getting back home last saturday i had work at old navy at freaking 7am the next day! 24 hours over there this week and 27 next week. i'm loving the potential extra money but sheesh. i still have 2 or 3 weekends of 'vacation' that i'm taking over the next 6 weeks so i'm just going to suck it up and put the time in now while i can. my bank account will thank me for it.
i tried out some new tv shows while i was gone and 2 have definitely sparked an interest, Memphis Blue is an unexpected one that i enjoyed. and i really liked Covert Affairs. it's no Alias but it's filling that void quite nicely.
I've been so busy with work and old navy this week that i haven't gotten my work outs in as much as i would've liked, but i have been eating healthier so i guess that's a good trade off. my goal for this month has been to stop eating out so much. so i guess i'm doing ok with it. :) it's ridiculous how much money i spend a week eating out.
my yahoo account got hacked while i was on vacay. so that's been fun trying to deal with the fall out. it seriously freaked me out and i started changing my passwords and trying to switch everything over to my gmail. and then i took my email and facebook off my phone out of paranoia. which is actually a good thing. it's amazing how addicted i am to my phone and it's been nice to be able to let go of that a little bit. not everything needs to be instantaneous.
