tuesday
the personality of callahan's beach didn't work today (trotta and jordan). the weather was bleak so i only worked a half day.
i went through some clothes and took a nap before softball. the blue barracudas had two fun games today. the playoffs were at flynn, and it was single elimination. the first round was against the rangers, some random kids from hauppauge who can't play softball for shit. the game was back and forth, but gavin lahann drove me home from 3rd in the bottom of the 7th to win ... very intense.
the 2nd game was against some REAL athletes (jamie giffuni, jay beyton, bernard quinn, matt whelan, etc). they mercied us, but it was still fun to play in the rain.
after softball i hung around the house until jeffrey kanter gave me a call. i took a quick shower and went to his house to hang out with him and chuck, and we had SO MUCH FUN. we went to the friendly's in commack, where jeff and i couldn't stop laughing at the filthy conditions of the restaurant. we drove to blockbuster to pick up a movie (scary movie 3), met dee and steena at jeff's, and attempted to watch the movie. chuck passed out as soon as jeff pressed play, and jeff and i eventually fell asleep around 1:15. i woke up around 1:30 and decided to head home.
