i just finished watching the yankees-sox game, and i would just like to express my hatred for the boston red sox. please ignore if you are not a baseball fan.
YOUR MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM SUCKS. they will always be inferior to the yankees; i can't believe that this is still called a "rivalry" when the yankees have clearly beaten the crap out of the sox in the near-century that has passed since the babe ruth sale in 1920.
do you know why the red sox sold him?? harry frazee needed money to fund his girlfriend's broadway play!! COWBOY THAT, BOSTON!!
your fans suck, too! cheer for your OWN team, not AGAINST the other!! [the same thing goes for met fans!] when i attended a boston-new york game in fenway park in the spring of 2002, i heard more "yankees suck!" chants than "let's go red sox!" chants.
you chant against the yankees even when your team isn't playing them!! in a recent issue of sports illustrated (i forget which one), there was an article in the scorecard about how boston games are being shown in movie theaters because every game at fenway is sold out this season. the writer noted that even though the red sox were playing the cleveland indians on the screen, "there were still chants of 'yankees ---!' "
fenway park blows, too. granted it's very old and i would not like to see it torn down, there are seats BEHIND the diamond vision where you can't see or hear anything that's going on. at least put speakers back there or something, jeez.
y'know what's funny? alex rodriguez told the boston red sox that he wouldn't play in new york nor would he move to third base. funny how that worked out.
god damn i hate the boston red sox so much. good thing i didn't go to boston university; i would've been shot when <3aaron boone<3 hit that home run in the ALCS. that is all.
