i woke up at varin's around 7, got home around 7:20, went back to sleep until 8:30.
since i was supposed to be off today, i only worked a half day to cover for frank. i left around 1, showered, and shiz, martucci, nina, and billy quinn came over to meet for the show at the downtown.
around 2:30 we left to see lux courageous, action action, kevin devine, and the plain white t's. we didn't bother to stay for rocket summer.
i would now like to take this time to express my love for kevin devine. dsklfa;jsdkfljslafjldsajfkds;ajfsa;fjdsla;fjdslakfjasdklfjsdajf. he's simply amazing. jill joked around about how he and i should go out because he's politically active and stuff.
after kevin devine played, the plain white t's went on. i haven't listened to them in over a year; i forgot how much i LOVED them. they were great live and definitely fun to listen to.
we all piled back into martucci's jeep after the show and went to shiz's house for a little bbq. great food, thanks shiz.
as mike was driving us back to my house, we passed by the park and saw that some of the lifeguards were playing softball, so i went over there for a bit to talk to bunton, trotta, kiernan, sean young, and keith. i'm really glad i work at the beach.
nina and i went food shopping at waldbaum's, then we went to her house and some people came over. we sat outside and shared stories from college/orientation, and chuck's was by far the funniest. it wouldn't be funny if i wrote it here because chuck's delivery was half the story. but we cried and it was awesome.
around 12:20 i drove frank corrigan back to northport to jason joiner's house for sean quigley's going away party. he's leaving for the army on monday, and i definitely hope everything works out for him. i wish i could have stayed longer at the party because a lot of npt people i know where there. oh well, there will be others.
