(no subject)
okayy i seriously haven't blogged in awhile.. eugene was spot-on when he noticed the negative correlation between the level of stress and frequency of blog posts in my life lol. anyhoww, i've taken today off just to come out of the water and inhale the much-needed oxygen. SMU has decided that i needed a final connection with the busyness of school before graduation, and i've just been struggling to meet many deadlines the past two weeks zzz.
so.. it is CNY once again, and having missed CNY last year, i think i'm supposed to feel more excited about this year's CNY. well CNY's never been my favourite festival and i don't think it'll ever be. but CNY this year might be special, cos my cousins from malaysia are coming and i haven't seen them in i think eight years? yeah for as long as my grams passed away, cos i stopped seeing the need of going thru another eight-hour bus ride and returning to my mum's kampong with her. but i know i could do better with up-keeping relationships with people around me..
but CNY is still worth celebrating, cos it gives us a second chance to start afresh again, just in case we failed to do so during the conventional (western) new year :P
while spring-cleaning, i discovered a dusty PS2 hidden away in a corner of the drawers below the TV. lol the PS2 belongs to wayne and i remember he said he didn't want it anymore.. so yez and i plugged it into the TV and had a winning eleven showdown. we then headed to marina barrage in the night to take in the cool breeze and have our obligatory 'vday date'.
