awful
so i haven't posted in this in ages... but now its necessary.
I applied to URI's summer abroad at the University of Bath. I was pumped. Seriously, there is nothing I want more in my life than to go to England. So I applied. I paid the $150, filled out the application of doom, got a kick ass recommendation. Did I get in even though I am a perfectly eligible candidate? NO! Was I rejected because there were other, better candidates for the program? NO! There weren't enough applicants for them to send abroad. So nobody is going. HOW AWFUL!
In case you were wondering I am both completely horrified that something like this can happen because it is the epitome of unfair, and completely heartbroken, because I wanted to go that bad.
