Neal and Elizabeth are on the couch, wrapping up their conversation. Neal looks relieved and Elizabeth seems to be a combination of surprised, amused and still a little unsure

It's just Elizabeth that Peter's expecting to see when he walks in the door, and there's pleasant surprise on his face at the sight of them both that fades into something more wary when he catches Neal's expression.
"I didn't think you were coming by," he says to Neal, approaching the couch to give them both a kiss hello.
Neal smiles that charming smile of his and moves to give Peter a quick kiss. "I thought you two could use a little more of my company," he informs. "Was I wrong?"
Elizabeth gives him a look but she doesn't say anything.
He smiles on, pulling Peter to the couch, urging him to sit down. El moves over to give him room and inf fact, gets to her feet.
"I should go start dinner," she says, giving Neal another pointed look.
The pointed looks don't escape Peter's notice, but he doesn't say anything, just shoots a mild questioning look in both their directions.
"Let me know if you need anything, honey," he says to Elizabeth as he lets himself be pulled down to the couch, catching her hand for a moment before she goes.
When she does, he turns to Neal. He gives the other most of his focus even as he responds to Satchmo's enthusiastic welcome home, though he doesn't say anything right away.
El smiles at him, even moving to press a kiss against the corner of his forehead before she goes. "I will," she says before she leaves.
Neal watches her leave and a part of him wishes she wouldn't. If Elizabeth were there, she could act as a buffer, if not an awkward one and hes not entirely sure he wont need one.
He takes in a deep breath, starting to say something and then shaking his head.
"Satch hasn't been out for a walk," he starts. "Do you wantt o take hi with me?"
