Last 2 nights, were great. I finally met up HLSG ever since I came back from my trip. It was meant to be a shopping trip initially! So we decided to meet up in Orchard to check out the new things and buildings in town. First stop, I wanted to check out the new LV shop in ION. Cos' my mom told me it was the largest branch in Asia. Apparently I went in and it's a 2 storey shop! Okay. Maybe I might get a little too used to the huge boutiques elsewhere, but nonetheless, I'm still excited seeing similar stuffs! Stayed for a while, while waiting for Flor to come. So when all were there, we moved on. Thinking what to eat is a standard problem. In the end, we ended up in Orchard Central to check things out! Since ION was not fully opened. Food there was still quite limited, in the end we were dragged by MOS ice milk tea and have dinner there. Spent most of our time on choosing food and having dinner actually.
After dinner, we decided to do some exploration. Rooftop! We had a 'fun' time changing lifts and getting up, higher and nearer to our aim! To our disappointment, a sign saying 'Cleaning in Progress' was in our way. We ignored it and went up! The view was ooo la la! The night view in Orchard was nice! At the same time it was scary! Kept thinking whether it would give way! The longer I stood there, my legs got more jelly-ish! Then it was when we realised, we can go up again! This time, was even better still. It was a garden-like place! Kinda scary actually. Cos' the lights were not fully lit. Our housewife then wanted to get spoons for her family. =X So we went to Robinsons and shopped abit till they close for the day! As the peeps got to work the next day, our so-called shopping trip, ended there! We totally need one more shopping trip, which is purely shopping!
I had a great time with them, as usual! If not, what's HLSG for!
I had a call from a good friend to have dinner @ Safra. My second time going there this week. Tried out their jap food ever since I was told the food looks good from there, and actually arranged one day to go try it. So we did it spontaneously. It was then, I tagged along with a group of them later on to the LAN shop. Ever since I read Bea's blog about Left4Dead, I was quite tempted to see what is it like. Since they are going to play that, I tagged along and watch them play. It was officially my first time staying in a LAN shop for slightly more than an hour?
The game amuses me to the max!! I was like laughing my way throughout their game! Basically, it's like the arcade game, House of the Dead. Where you form teams of 4 to kill zombies. So I had a great time seeing 4 friends, screaming, shouting. For help, for first aid, for saving them from the zombies when the zombie captured them, or when a huge group of zombies just attacked one of them and that person would be screaming for help. I had a great laugh in there! It's an interesting game and would be fun if it's in groups of 4!
They have always been a bunch of funny peeps to be with. It has been great to see them after a long time! (:
